| CBT / bike hire NOVICE ONLY | |
This course is for Novice customer only and takes a minimum of a day (6 hours training, with an hour break split throughout the day), starting at 9am and finishing at 4pm and includes PPE ( between sizes S and 4XL, boots from size 4 - 12). and bike hire. You will need to arrive at 8.45 at the latest to complete your licence checks and booking in requirements. As the course is set by the DVSA we cannot wait for any late comers and you will be sent away and lose your payment, so please ensure you allow for traffic and transport issues. The cost is £215 for the 6 hours training and we will require payment in full on booking. A Sunday course is charged at £250 per 6 hours training.
This course can be split into smaller 3 hour sessions over a couple of days if you prefer and is subject to booking availability. Split bookings cannot be booked online, to discuss please contact our office on 01782595000.
Not everyone achieves their CBT within the 6 hours and any additional training required to gain your CBT certificate is charged at a cost of £50 per hour and will need to be booked at a later date, this cannot be on a Sunday.
Please be aware we require a minimum of 7 working days notice of any cancellation no matter the reason.

| SUNDAY NOVICE CBT | |
This course is for Novice customer on a SUNDAY only and takes a minimum of a day (6 hours training, with an hour break split throughout the day), starting at 9am and finishing at 4pm and includes PPE ( between sizes S and 4XL, boots from size 4 - 12). and bike hire. You will need to arrive at 8.45 at the latest to complete your licence checks and booking in requirements. As the course is set by the DVSA we cannot wait for any late comers and you will be sent away and lose your deposit payment, so allow for traffic and transport issues.
The cost is £250 for the 6 hours training and we will require payment in full on booking.

Prerequisites
Before you book into any of our CBT courses
You must be able to competently ride a peddle cycle within the last five years.
Have a full understanding of the highway code including the updates since 29th January 2022 onwards
You will need a Provisional or Full photocard licence for this course, which must be brought with you to all sessions.
Please ensure if you are a novice rider you book into a Novice CBT course as you will be sent home without a refund if you are booked into an previously held course.
If you have previously held a CBT do not book into a Novice course as we may not have an additional instructor to take you out on road if the novice rider is not ready to be taken out and you will need to book back in to a later date to complete which may include an additional cost.
The course takes a minimum of a day, starting at 9am and finishing at 4pm (6 hours in total excluding breaks). This can be split into smaller 2 hour lessons over a period of days if you prefer, subject to booking availability which you would need to contact our office on 01782595000. Split courses cannot be booked online. Not everyone achieves their CBT within the 6 hours (even if you have previously achieved a CBT in the past) and any further training is charged at a cost of £50 per hour will need to be booked at a later date.
CBT Plus 2 day course
If you are looking to book into a 2 day course (£420), the times remain the same, but the total hours are 12. Again, not everyone achieves their CBT within these 12 hours and you may need to come back for further training to achieve at a cost of £50 per hour.
If you wish to take your CBT on your own bike then you would need to contact us on 01782 595000 (weekdays 9 - 3.30) to make your booking.
