Welcome to Lightning Motorcycle Training's Novice Course (A1 geared) on-line booking page.

The following process will allow you to make a live booking with Lightning Motorcycle Training, make a payment and receive a booking email.

There are only a few things you need to worry about:

This course is suitable for anyone who wants to gain an A1 Light Motorcycle Licence (up to 125cc) but who has little or no previous experience of riding a geared motorcycle. The course includes the CBT and Motorcycle Tests, however it assumes you have booked or have a current Motorcycle Theory Test.
To take a training course you must be at least 17 years old and have either a provisional UK/Northern Ireland driving licence, a full UK/Northern Ireland driving licence or a UK Counterpart licence with Motorcycle Entitlement. No other licence is acceptable.
You must be able to read a number plate over 20.5 metres (you can wear glasses or contact lenses to do this).

	Novice Course - (A1 geared)
NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE (NOVICE): a total novice who has never ridden a geared motorcycle, or only for a few minutes or just a Free Introductory Lesson. We do expect you to be able to ride a bicycle. You must have a current motorcycle Theory Test.
