WELCOME to 1ST CLASS MOTORCYCLE TRAINING AVAILABILITY & BOOKING for Individual 1:2:1 1 hour lessons These lessons are £40/hour. Bike Hire and the use of safety equipment is included. ALL BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS ARE ONLINE. Unfortunately due to our incredibly busy work schedule it is not always possible for us to receive/return any calls.
But you can contact us via: Bookings are for 1 hour lessons only. Should you want 2 or 3 hours you will need to book multiple 1 hour slots to meet your requirements. Individual 1-to-1-hour lessons are available to book to suit your individual requirements.
Below are some of the things our students have used this individual training time for. Getting familiar with riding a motorcycle or moped in advance of a CBT. This can make the CBT course a little easier on the day as the basics will have already covered in advance. Learning to ride with clutch and gears if the CBT was completed on an automatic machine. A refresher lesson for those who have not been on a motorcycle / moped for a while and want some practise / tuition before gong out alone again. Extra practise prior to starting a Full Licence course. An assessment lesson to ensure that the correct course length is chosen for your experience/ability. The opportunity to try a larger bike for size and have a practise at your Module 1 Test. To finish a CBT if extra tuition is needed to get to the required standard after completing a full CBT course with us. If you are booking this lesson to finish a previously taken full CBT course. It must be within 1 Month (30 days) of the original CBT course to ensure continuous training. If you are now passed this 1 month (30 day) period another full CBT course must be taken. Please note that this is NOT a FULL CBT course. However should you wish to use these 1-to-1 lessons to complete a full CBT course please tell us in the notes section when booking. (Usually it takes 6x1hr lessons to cover every element required for a CBT. This can vary depending on previous riding experience.) If you leave us a note when booking telling us what you want to practise/learn, we can ensure we are ready for you. Training with us. Our off-road training site is by far the largest in the area giving you ample room to learn and practise your basic skills. All our training courses are made enjoyable and fun but always run to the highest possible standard. Please don't think that all motorcycle training is taught the same over the country, there is a huge difference in what some consider acceptable. Our students notice a big difference in the standard of training received when visiting us, if they have previously trained elsewhere. What you will need to bring. You will need to bring your UK photo card licence with you on the day. (Old style paper licences MUST be accompanied by a valid photo ID such as your passport.) A valid copy of your driving licence summary is also required should you wish to go out on the road. Full details of where and how to obtain a copy of your driving licence summary can be found by looking on google or at the end of your booking process.
Failure to produce both your photo card driving licence and a valid driving licence summary will result in us NOT being able to progress with on road training. Charges may apply for re-booking. If you have a provisional licence and wish to have on road training then a valid, original CBT Certificate will also need to be produced. (unless using the lesson to complete a CBT that has previously been taken with us.) Please note it is your responsibility to check your licence is valid to use for training in the UK. If you are wanting to go on the road during this lesson a good understanding of the highway code will need to be demonstrated at all times. We highly recommend bringing your own in ear headphones with a 3.5mm Jack, however these are only needed if you are going on the road. We will provide an over ear headphone for all on road training, however due to their size these can cause discomfort. Most students do find the in ear headphones more comfortable. As these cannot be shared due to hygiene reasons we can only offer them for purchase for individual use at £5. We MUST have radio contact with students for all on road training. Attendance. Please ensure you arrive on time and with the correct documentation. Appropriate Clothing. A Helmet, Jacket and Gloves will be required, along with appropriate sturdy bottoms without rips. Sturdy footwear including boots that cover the ankle are also required which allow easy use of the controls. We can supply equipment for use whilst training with us, but it is limited and we cannot cater for all shapes and sizes. The equipment we have available consists of helmets, jackets, gloves and limited sizes in boots and trousers. Please note: There is no protection offered by tracksuit bottoms or trainers and you may be turned away from training and tests if clothing or footwear is deemed unsuitable and alternatives are refused.
