Welcome to the booking screen for your Bennetts Machine Control Day

This is a one-day introduction to the fundamentals of the system of machine control. It will consist of

A short classroom session based around Riding theory and best practices

Machine Handling techniques: Including manual handling, slow riding and confidence riding

Observed ride: A maximum of three riders per police-trained coach. Observed ride element will typically last 2-3 hrs and includes a roadside debriefing.

Feedback on your riding assessment:, delivered verbally, with video footage and written feedback.

Recommended next steps: a discussion on how to improve and a suggestion of further training.

All Observed rides are conducted by Police riders that are either serving or retired.

You will need a full licence and your own motorcycle to take part in this course.

Prerequisites

You need to have

You need to bring with you your full licence or if you are on a provisional licence your CBT certificate as well.
Your own motorcycle which must be fully road worthy and legal
Suitable PPE in include bots, trousers, jacket, helmet and gloves
A packed Lunch - Tea and Coffee will be provided
