Welcome to Lightning Motorcycle Training's Novice Course (A2 automatic) on-line booking page.

The following process will allow you to make a live booking with Lightning Motorcycle Training, make a payment and receive a booking email.

There are only a few things you need to worry about:

This course is suitable for anyone who wants to gain an automatic Restricted A2 licence but who has little or no previous experience of riding an automatic scooter. The course includes the CBT and Scooter Tests, however it assumes you have booked or have a current Motorcycle Theory Test.
If you are taking this course as part of the Progressive or Accelerated Access Scheme (in other words you have already taken and passed a Restricted A1 more than two years ago) you will not need to have a current Theory Test.
To take a training course you must be at least 19 and have either a provisional UK/Northern Ireland driving licence, a full UK/Northern Ireland driving licence or a UK Counterpart licence with Motorcycle Entitlement. No other licence is acceptable.
When you have booked please read the booking email very carefully as it tells you where to go, times and dates, and what to bring.

NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE (NOVICE): a total novice who has never ridden an automatic scooter, or only for a few minutes or just a Free Introductory Lesson. We do expect you to be able to ride a bicycle.
