What does CBT stand for?
CBT stands for Compulsory Basic Training, this is something that was introduced in 1990 and it aims to reduce motorcycle accidents. Your CBT can normally be completed in a day but may take longer if your instructor feels that you need more training.
How long will my CBT certificate be valid?
You should be aware that, once you have completed your CBT Test in Carmarthen, it shall remain valid for two years. If, after two years have expired and you have not gone on to complete your training and take your full motorcycle certification, then your DL196 will no longer be valid.
