Always book your CBT directly with a motorcycle training company

Always book direct with a motorcycle training company, not a third party who then passes your details to a real motorcycle training company. You might wonder why that is, here are 5 good reasons:

  • Always book direct The DVSA recommends it. The DVSA is the government agency that oversees motorcycle training and monitors the issuing of CBT certificates. It recommends booking directly with a motorcycle training school. Click here for more information.
  • Peace of mind. This site puts you in direct contact with all the motorcycle training companies in the UK. Payments will go directly from you to them, so you can be sure they have your money, not a third party.
  • You get the date you book. Third party companies often do not have up to date booking information, meaning the date you book may not actually be available. You will then be told afterwards that the 'instructor is not available' on the date you selected and you will have to book a different date.
  • How long does CBT training take? One set of terms and conditions. No one enjoys reading Ts and Cs but if you book through a third party they will have their own Ts and Cs, as well as the motorcycle training company who you eventually get placed with will also have their own Ts & Cs. In the event something does not go to plan you have double the confusion with two sets of Ts and Cs.
  • Simple communication. Dealing direct will mean you will get exactly the right booking confirmation and joining instructions from the company you are actually doing your training with.
