All you'll need to do is get a provisional UK license, suitable clothing and then book your CBT.
How much is CBT compulsory basic training in Hyde, Greater Manchester?
The price varies depending on which motorcycle training company you take your compulsory basic training with, but in Hyde will typically be between £160 and £200. There are four main things that affect the price:
- Clothing and equipment hire. This includes your safety helmet, jacket, gloves and boots. Once again it may not be included in the price, so check first.
- Experienced or beginners CBT. If you've done your CBT before you can book an experienced CBT which usually costs less. This is because it will be shorter as you will already have been through all of the basics. Only do this if you have done at least 1 CBT and are confident riding your motorcycle or scooter.
- Bike hire. Not all CBTs include the price of the bike hire so make sure you check if it is included in the price.
- Collision damage waiver. This is an insurance that will be offered to you before your training. It means that if you damage the motorcycle or scooter during your training then you will not have to pay for the repairs. It typically costs between £10 - £20 but is well worth having as repairs are much more than that.
Don't try to simply get the cheapest price, the quality of the training is the most important thing. Quality training will one day save your life.
CBT help from the best.
For those that would like to take their CBT training in Hyde, but would like a reputable company to help facilitate them, we here at Book CBT Now will have created a website that makes it easy to find what you need. The closest motorcycle training companies, their contact details and CBT availability are all easy to locate.
Is there a test at the end of CBT training in Hyde?
Here at Book CBT Now, we want all of our clients, prospective or otherwise, to understand what CBT training is, what it entails, and why it is so important. Technically speaking, it is not a test - when you complete your CBT training, you will be awarded with a pass certification known as a DL196. You are able to take the CBT course once you have either turned sixteen if you are riding a moped, or seventeen if you are the owner of a motorcycle which is up to 125 cc.
Once you are CBT accredited, you will be able to ride for up to two years; after this, your CBT will have expired, and if you have not by then taken your full motorcycle test, you will be required to re-take. For anyone that is looking to find out more regarding the CBT tests that we source for clients, you can do so on our website.
