Why was Compulstory Basic Training introduced?

The reason that the government has brought in CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) tests in December 1990 was that it wanted to ensure that, before taking to the roads, people of all ages had at least a basic understanding regarding being in control of two-wheeled machines. Is Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) really a test?

How much is the cost of CBT compulsory basic training?

The price varies depending on which motorcycle training company you take your CBT test with, but in Lichfield or the closest towns of Burntwood, Brownhills and Aldridge will typically be between  £160 and £200. There are four main things that affect the price:

1.  Bike hire. Not all CBTs include the price of the bike hire so make sure you check if it is included in the price.
