Have you been hunting for CBT compulsory basic training in Swanage, Dorset?
Have you been on the hunt for a company that can help you organise CBT compulsory basic training in Swanage or nearby in Poole, Bournemouth and Wareham? Whilst price is important, the most important factor is the quality of motorcycle training.Book CBT Now has the largest listing of all motorcycle training companies in the UK. Simply enter your postcode and we will show you all of your local training companies that run compulsory basic training. Completing your 'Compulsory Basic Training' CBT test will allow you to ride any scooter, moped, electric motorbike, 50cc moped or 125cc motorbike of your choice. All you'll need to do is get a provisional UK license, suitable clothing and then book your CBT.
Is a CBT certificate valid for 2 years?
Once you have completed your CBT training in Swanage your certificate will be valid for 2 years. If you carry on with your training and take a full motorcycle test then you will no longer need to renew your CBT. If you dont then you will need to retake your CBT every 2 years. This re-take is called an experienced CBT and some motorcycle training schools will list this as a separate course with different pricing. So if you are booking a CBT for the first time then make sure you book the right one.

Will there by other learners with me?
On the day of your CBT test in Swanage there may be others training with you, with a maximum of four per classroom, instructor aside. When you subsequently take to the road, there are permitted to be two learners per instructor. This is in order to give a slightly more realistic scenario, as well as giving you someone to talk to, which can help with nerves.
Can a CBT test take more than one day?
A CBT test can normally be completed in a day, but may take longer if you need more time to master the control of the motorcycle or moped. If you have done a CBT already and this is your second or third time then you should have no problem completing it in a day.
If you do not complete your CBT to the instructors satisfaction then you will be asked to come back on another day for additional training. If this happens do not be alarmed or upset, some people take longer to master control of a two wheeled vehicle than others, but we all get there in the end. The most important thing to remember is its for your safety. Your instructor will be thinking of your safety if they ask you to come back for additional training.
