CBT training and testing underway in Nelson

Have you been hunting for a motorcycle CBT test in Nelson, Lancashire?

Have you been on the hunt for a company that can help you organise a motorcycle CBT test in Nelson or nearby in Brierfield, Colne and Burnley? Whilst price is important, the most important factor is the quality of motorcycle training.Book CBT Now has the largest listing of all motorcycle training companies in the UK. Simply enter your postcode and we will show you all of your local training companies that run compulsory basic training. Completing your 'Compulsory Basic Training' CBT test will allow you to ride any scooter, moped, electric motorbike, 50cc moped or 125cc motorbike of your choice. All you'll need to do is get a provisional UK license, suitable clothing and then book your CBT.

Is CBT a test or an evaluation?

Contrary to popular belief, a CBT is more of an evaluation than a test; your instructor will, throughout the day, observe your abilities and, if you complete the day to the required competency, you shall be awarded a pass certificate (professionally known as a DL196). A CBT certificate is valid for two years and once you have completed your full motorcycle examination, you will no longer have to renew your CBT. However, if you do not carry on your training in Nelson, you will be required to re-sit your CBT test after two years.

Will I be on my own during a CBT?

Normally during a CBT test in Nelson there will be other riders with you, you will all take part in classroom and off-road sections together as well as practical sections. Taking the test in a group is a great way to calm your nerves. The majority of motorcycle training schools will also supply motorcycles for hire during your CBT test in Nelson so you do not need to bring one with you. Sometimes the price of your CBT includes the hire of a motorcycle and sometimes it doesn't, so we always advise that you check this before booking. Here at Book CBT Now we will provide you with the information for all of your local CBT companies and you can then decide which company you wish to use.

How do I complete my CBT in Nelson, Lancashire?

Your CBT test in Nelson is training that you must complete before you are able to ride independently. If you are safe to ride on the road unaccompanied you will receive a CBT test certificate. Whether you pass or fail your CBT test will be determined by the instructor who will be training you on the day. If the trainer doesn't think you are ready to be riding alone you will be asked to come back for additional training until the instructor feels you are safe to ride on the road.
