How can you help me find CBT training in Edmonton, Greater London
When you use Book CBT Now to find a company for your CBT test in Edmonton you will only be provided with approved training bodies that meet all requirements set by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency. We will provide you with all the relevant details about the company along with additional information such as; whether bike hire, helmet hire and gloves and jacket hire are included, if there is parking on the premises, if there is an indoor classroom and if they have female instructors. If you would like to find out more about the company local to you then we will also provide you with their contact details.
How much is the cost of motorcycle CBT training?
The price varies depending on which motorcycle training company you take your CBT test with, but in Edmonton or the closest towns of Tottenham, North East London and Southgate will typically be between £160 and £200. There are four main things that affect the price:
- Bike hire. Not all CBTs include the price of the bike hire so make sure you check if it is included in the price.
- Experienced or beginners CBT. If you've done your CBT before you can book an experienced CBT which usually costs less. This is because it will be shorter as you will already have been through all of the basics. Only do this if you have done at least 1 CBT and are confident riding your motorcycle or scooter.
- Clothing and equipment hire. This includes your safety helmet, jacket, gloves and boots. Once again it may not be included in the price, so check first.
- Collision damage waiver. This is an insurance that will be offered to you before your training. It means that if you damage the motorcycle or scooter during your training then you will not have to pay for the repairs. It typically costs between £10 - £20 but is well worth having as repairs are much more than that.
Don't try to simply get the cheapest price, the quality of the training is the most important thing. Quality training will one day save your life.
Is a CBT certificate valid for 2 years?
Once you have completed your CBT training in Edmonton your certificate will be valid for 2 years. If you carry on with your training and take a full motorcycle test then you will no longer need to renew your CBT. If you dont then you will need to retake your CBT every 2 years. This re-take is called an experienced CBT and some motorcycle training schools will list this as a separate course with different pricing. So if you are booking a CBT for the first time then make sure you book the right one.
